Student Placements

Admission Times

We try to be proactive with EMS placements and allow the student to do as much as they can within their level of competence.

We have digital X-ray, endoscopes and ultrasound and expect to see a variety of small animals beyond the normal cats and dogs.
The typical day runs from 8:30 to close at 7pm ish, though can be very case driven.
We have a well equipped library students are welcome to use while on placement

To apply please email the practice with a covering letter and dates.

Degree placements and Apprenticeships

Due to current students we have no vacancies and do not anticipate any until late 2021.

We offer a small number of work experience placements to students at School, note we will only accept one student at a time.
Students should apply themselves including a covering letter.
Due to the high demand we will frequently shortlist and interview the students.

Applications made by text, or social media message are unlikely to be successful.
Applications that do not include basic information such as which dates you would like may also not be successful.

Why Trust Us

Caring For Your Pet

We can meet your pet’s every need, from the first puppy or kitten (and bunny or gecko!) health check, through preventative care, to the most complicated investigation and treatment when they are unwell. We have the advanced facilities and expert knowledge you may expect from a much larger practice, and yet our small size allows us to retain the friendly, comfortable, and caring atmosphere we are known for.
