The British Veterinary Association (BVA) has established hip and elbow dysplasia scoring schemes which aim to reduce the incidence and severity of both conditions.

To be eligible for scoring, your dog needs to be at least 12 months of age, and have a valid microchip implanted. The radiographs are taken under general anaesthesia, and copies submitted to BVA.

We are currently only offering this service to registered clients who regularly use the clinic as their primary veterinary practice.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic there is a significant backlog at the BVA in processing radiographs, with results taking up to 3 months from submission.
